Chandos Lodge Care Home is located on Stourbridge Road, Hagley with stunning views overlooking Wychbury Hill. Situated just off the A456 Birmingham Road, at Hagley, Stourbridge, on the border of Birmingham and Worcester and within a short distance of junction 3 of the M5 motorway.
We pride ourselves in providing personalised residential care to our residents who are living with mild to moderate dementia or for those who would like to spend their later life in a residential setting.
Our highly skilled staff being committed to making a difference to the lives of our elderly have been awarded the Bronze Award for our dementia care.
A friendly atmosphere is created within a partially Grade 2 listed Georgian building compromising of 34 rooms, some with en suite facilities. Our communal lounge and dining rooms are spacious and provide our residents with the joy of interacting with others on a daily basis. We also have a quiet lounge for those who prefer solitude. Our conservatory provides an area where time can be spent with families and visitors.
We welcome families to come and dine with us and our chef provides a wonderful, nutritious menu which is created from our residents choices.
Our dementia friendly paved garden is accessible to all throughout the day, with ramp access and raised beds. We have strong links with our local community with visiting therapists providing light exercise classes and weekly visits from our local churches. Our varied programme of activities are linked to residents choice and take into account differing culture and religion. Residents often enjoy a variety of trips throughout the year and are encouraged to participate in local community events.

At all of our Clarendon homes, we have a structured daily timetable that allows our residents to enjoy leisure activities, such as Zumba, Yoga, Pilates, iPad sessions, social clubs, wine tasting and much more.

Dining at Chandos Lodge
Chandos Lodge has it’s own resident chef that can cater for all dietary needs including specialised diets. We create interesting and varied choices of dishes to suit all tastes. All produce is locally sourced and residents have the choice of dining together in our dining room or if they prefer, in the privacy of their own room.
Morning coffee and afternoon tea are served daily between meals, an ideal time for family and friends to join in the fun. For special occasions lunch or tea parties can also be organised.
